Description
Pulsegrid sits between EV charging network operators and the utility grid, dynamically throttling and scheduling charge sessions across thousands of stations to avoid local transformer overload while still hitting driver SLAs. It's already deployed across three regional charging networks in the US.
Problem
Fast-charging networks are outgrowing the local grid infrastructure they sit on, and naive first-come-first-served charging causes brownouts and expensive emergency upgrades.
Solution
Real-time load forecasting combined with a scheduling engine that negotiates charge rates per session against live grid telemetry and utility demand-response signals.
Target market
EV charging network operators and utilities running managed charging programs.
Business model
Per-station monthly SaaS fee plus a share of demand-response revenue the utility pays back to the network operator.

Anjali Mehta
Grid-constrained charging is a real bottleneck for network operators right now. Good timing on this one.
