Description
Coldstack combines cheap Bluetooth temperature loggers with a serverless ingestion pipeline to track pharma and vaccine shipments end to end, alerting logistics teams the moment a shipment drifts out of range instead of after a compliance report catches it days later.
Problem
Temperature excursions in cold-chain pharma shipments are often only discovered after the fact, when the batch has to be discarded.
Solution
Low-cost sensors paired with real-time alerting and an audit trail built for regulatory submission, not just internal logs.
Target market
Pharmaceutical distributors and third-party cold-chain logistics providers.
Business model
Hardware sold near cost, recurring per-shipment monitoring fee.

Freya Nilsen
Real-time alerting instead of after-the-fact reporting is the difference that actually saves a batch.
